I have no affiliation with these guys, I am not privey to that sort of thing, but really, think about it. So you spend a few bucks on shipping the package to you. Sure they are selling a subscription, but who isn’t? That’s where the residual Cash is. If you don’t think its worth the fee, cancel, you still get the product and bonuses, it’s a Give Away. If you have been searching for web hosting options, you know there are a TON of companies offering the service. How do you choose? Obviously price is a pretty big factor, but what else should one expect?
There are a few things that are very important to watch for;
hosting space and bandwidth limit. It is important not to assume each service offers the same space. Generally the ‘low cost’ hosting packages are limited in one of these or limited in the number of domains you can have with one account. What this means is if you have x data on your hosting plan and it begins to get a lot of traffic, you could run out of bandwidth, limiting the exposure of your site. You want the hosting space to be large enough to hold all your websites and data. If you have video or a lot of graphics, this can add up pretty fast. The number of domains that can be registered within one account is another factor that is important to determine. If you don’t intend to have many sites, then it may not matter as much. But, as you start creating websites, you may find that you end up with more sites than you would think.
Some sort of webpage building tool. Most reputable hosts include some sort of web design software or application. They are generally not as good as something like dreamweaver or, xSitePro but, included in a good hosting package, it is essentially free, which is always my favorite price:)
Technical Support. This is not a issue with the big hosts, but it can be if you sign up with a smaller company. Check the customer support process, which will be described on their page.
Adwords Credit. A good host package will often come with credit to advertise your new site (or what ever you wish). You don’t have to understand exactly what this is right away, but know that when your site is built and ready for traffic, this is something you will want to take advantage of. Considering buying ‘clicks’ can be as cheap as 0.10/click, a $30 credit could drive upwards of 300 people to your site (or more), which is helpful to boost your site in Googles ranking. I have a number of hosts that I really like that satisfy all these points and more, so then it really just comes down to cost.
